All-rounder Arjun Tendulkar delivered this exceptional performance in the Dr. (Captain) K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament 2024-25. Playing for Goa, he took 5 wickets in one inning and 4 in the other against KSCA XI. The Karnataka State Cricket Association organizes this invitational tournament. Other state associations, like the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, host such tournaments, including the Buchi Babu Tournament. Arjun Tendulkar’s fierce bowling was on full display in this match.
In the first innings against KSCA XI, Arjun bowled 13 overs, with 1 maiden over, conceding 41 runs and taking 5 wickets. His economy rate was 3.15. In the second innings, he bowled 10 overs, giving away 55 runs and taking 4 wickets. Arjun presents a unique challenge to batsmen with his pace and left-arm angle. Currently, there are very few left-arm pace bowlers in India. If Arjun continues to perform well in domestic cricket, he might have a chance to represent Team India in the future.
